There is No Place Like Home...

Over the past 15 years, I've been following what I call the "Yellow Brick Road" to success. "There's No Place like Home... there's no place like home" to work from!

My search began with a part-time business in network marketing that provided an alternative source of income in the shadow of possible corporate down sizing. I had worked my way up the corporate ladder in both the big business banking world and in a closely-knit small business atmosphere.

Instilled with a sense of purpose from a young age, I found myself assisting others in seeing possibilities beyond the place where they found themselves. I also began to seek a way to earn an income which I could design, rather than fit into an existing work atmosphere.

My search led me home! Where my greatest teachers live and learn and support me in change and growth, I am able to be flexible with the hats I wear and the roles I play. I am in the process of being congruent at all times with all people, to stand up as I am, to catch up to who I have become.

So, as I enjoy wonderful training, enlightenment and remarkable people along the way in the home-based business industry, I also have managed our family service business. There have been times that income was elusive and doubt crept in, but as Thomas Edison said, "I have not failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that won't work." The persistence in continuing to learn, grow, develop and ACT on what I learn is the key to my success today.

In my own home-based business, I have found a way to earn an income and design a lifestyle that incorporates my values and priorities and doesn't force anyone else to adopt them in order to earn their living. You can Create Your Dream as I am doing right now!

The formula that I have put into practice, is a simple but heartfelt process. Every day every one of us has at least 2 million dollar ideas that pass through our brains. From Imagination to Manifestation! What if, that million-dollar idea that YOU have, is nurtured and watered and fed and pruned in such a way that it bears fruit in a business you bring to life!

Another very important idea that I have come to align myself with is that the right things happen at the right time to the right people, in other words, synchronistic events occur when someone starts looking for change in their life. When I started asking, the circumstances that occurred were the best answers for me. If you ask, expect events that seem like answers.

Test them, pursue them, allow good experiences to flow into your life. Always remember that there is an guidance system we have called emotion. When you are feeling good, it’s a signal that you’re headed in the right direction, when you’re feeling guilt, possible change of direction is needed. You can guide yourself by looking within and giving yourself the care you give to your best friend, your significant other, your child. Enjoy the process.

One of my favorite sayings, “To Thine Own Self Be True”, is the cornerstone of my home office. I am a life long student of self-development, because the Self that previously was unsuccessful can become congruently successful and true to Self.

To be King of the Forest, to eliminate fear of success and of failure, to truly know that intuitive connection with purpose and with others of purpose is a vision & a reality as I move forward.
